Klaus
The first love of Isabella. He was the only survivor from when Isabella attacked his tribe due to an unbearable thirst that is never really satisfied. Taking pity of him Isabella fed him her blood (not knowing what would happen) which ended up with him changing and joining Isabella in eternity.
After cheating on his savior, Isabella, he was left to roam the world alone until he found someone else that would love him. Being unable to find the right person, Klaus soon became cold hearted and decided he wanted Isabella back
That's where Nick comes in. Klaus has sent Just Near (Nick's original name) to fallow his love. During his years fallowing the Original Vampire, Nick decided that he wants to create an army of his own and take down his enemies. But with the temptations of money, power and blood that Klaus has to offer, Nick still has to fallow orders.
